Mercedes SL Studiotorino Coupetorino

The Studiotorino Coupetorino Mercedes SL was premiered at the Turin World Design Capital 2008. It is a cultural, non-profit project. The goal of the project was to build a coupe while keeping the identity of the SL and add a touch of Italian flair.
This project includes a 1:4 scale maquette which was modeled by Alfredo Stola. The base 1:4 scale model of the SL that was later re-modeled was supplied by Mercedes. The project was done in collaboration with Istituto di Arte Applicata e Design (IAAD).
